Julio Espinoza is a performing artist from Fredericksburg, Texas. He has played the clarinet for about 11 years and has experience in wind bands, orchestras, pit orchestras, and numerous chamber ensembles. His music has taken him across the country from Chicago, San Antonio, and Dallas. Julio Espinoza is currently pursuing his undergraduate degrees in Music Education and Clarinet Performance, studying under Mrs. Deborah Ungaro Fabian. He is a member of the North Texas Symphonic Band directed by Dennis Fisher along with a member of Wind Ensemble. As a member of the Symphonic Band he has participated in recordings CDs distributed by Manhattan Beach Music, and NAXOS of America featuring works by Frank Ticheli and Julie Giroux respectively. He has also collaborated with world renowned composers such as Bruce Broughton and Ira Hearshen as well as performing concerts highlighting their works. He also joined the Green Brigade under the direction of Dr. Nicholas Williams. During the 3 years, he served as a clarinet section leader, coordinator, and drum major. Julio currently is located in Denton Texas where he attends the University of North Texas. He also teaches private lessons at Dan F. Long Middle School and Creekview High School to young clarinet players. Julio also teaches marching band as a marching technician for 4 years and at Denton High School for 1 year. In his free time, Julio enjoys hunting/fishing, playing video games, or just watching Netflix. He also loves taking his dog Carter on walks when he has the time.
